Embassy Theater Permanently Closed

Embassy Waltham is Permanently Closed

Breaking News

Embassy Theater in Waltham, Massachusetts is permanently closed due to many reasons, including building owner Smaranda Albeck's malfeasance. One of the smallest issues is the breaching of her binding contract with Tim Nasson.  First run films are no longer allowed to be played, as studios have revoked their licensing to the theater.

Tim Nasson reopened the theater in 2023, and made it the highest grossing independently owned movie theater in New England within three months of having sold the first ticket. The Taste of Things, Inside Out 2, The Holdovers and Maestro had some of the highest grosses from any theater in North America at Embassy Theater. Concession Sales were also the highest at any independently owned movie theater in New England that didn’t serve alcohol.

Stay tuned for the upcoming feature appearing in Boston's biggest daily about Embassy Theater that will make your head spin and put Smaranda Albeck the criminal out of business once and for all.  The story is also being turned into a big screen movie that will hit theaters in 2027.
